Why Yoga-Recess in Schools?

Bringing yoga teachers into schools is often a time-consuming and expensive process. To teach yoga in a high school for one year requires a sizable budget and logistics and it seems with the current financial crisis this is difficult to achieve.

Our strategy is a very different one. We send complementary YOGA-RECESS DVDs to school teachers encouraging them to integrate Yoga-Recess into their schedule. School teachers do not pay for the DVDs and they decide how and when to integrate yoga-based exercises into their classroom and how often they want children to benefit physically and emotionally.
